Faris - 31/08/2026
This update reorganizes PvP events, expands their rewards, adds two new systems to the interface, and fixes re-entry into several instances.
Battlefield: new schedule
Battlefield is no longer open continuously and will now run in 2-hour rounds, starting daily at the following times (UTC -3):
- 02:00
- 04:00
- 08:00
- 10:00
- 14:00
- 16:00
- 20:00
- 22:00
Rewards per kill
Valid kills within Battlefield can now award Ability EXP, in addition to Fame and Auralyn. The amount of Ability EXP per kill can range from zero to 1,000,000,000 and follows the same rules as the other rewards. In other words, everyone in the Party or Command Channel receives the reward for each kill.
Battlefield and Resonance no longer compete
While a Battlefield round is active, Resonance Field will be temporarily closed.
Resonance will resume operating normally once the round ends.
New Resonance Field rewards
Resonance Field can now also award the following for each valid kill:
- 150 Fame;
- 1 to 5 Auralyn.
In the solo event, these two rewards belong only to the killer.
The chance increases according to the number of active players in the area:
| Active players | Chance |
|---|---|
| fewer than 2 | 0% |
| 2 | 10% |
| 3 | 20% |
| 4 | 30% |
| 5 | 40% |
| 6 | 50% |
| 7 | 60% |
| 8 | 70% |
| 9 | 80% |
| 10 | 90% |
| 11 or more | 100% |
Resonance reward limits and controls are independent from those of Battlefield. Both have their own protections against farming and abuse.
New system: Fame Redemption
Fame Redemption is a recovery system for characters who have lost Fame progress over several consecutive cycles.
Requirements and activation
- The character must have completed — or be eligible to claim — the Big Guy: Intermediate mission.
- The system tracks Fame before each daily decay.
- Redemption is activated after 3 consecutive decay cycles in which the character failed to recover the previous cycle's Fame reference value.
- A cycle in which the reference value is recovered interrupts the negative streak.
- Periods protected by an applicable protection rune do not count as a loss toward activating Redemption.
Redemption bonus
While Fame Redemption is active:
- Normal, eligible Fame gains receive a 50% bonus;
- example: a reward of 1,000 Fame will instead award 1,500 Fame;
- the bonus remains active until the character reaches 100,000 Fame.
Upon reaching the goal, Redemption is completed and automatically deactivated.
While Fame Redemption is active, the Fame value in the character status window will appear in blue. The player will also receive a message when the benefit is activated or ends, including after reconnecting.
New system: Auralyn Forge
Bruenor now has the new option “I'd like to forge Auralyn”. It opens a dedicated window for converting regular equipment into Auralyn.
How to use it
- Talk to the NPC Bruenor.
- Open the Auralyn Forge option.
- Move one or more eligible pieces of equipment to the Forge list.
- Review the estimated minimum and maximum amount of Auralyn.
- Press Forge to complete the conversion.
The window displays only eligible equipment from the inventory, allows multiple selections, and automatically adds up the total reward range.

Important rules
- The equipment must be in the inventory and unequipped.
- Temporary items, Shadow Items, PvP items, and items that cannot be moved cannot be used.
- Each selected piece of equipment is permanently consumed.
- There is no chance of “failing and awarding zero”: for a valid selection, the result is randomly determined within the displayed range.
Farmable Dynasty and Vesper equipment
Eligible equipment in this category must be enchanted between +17 and +20:
| Enchant | Auralyn per piece of equipment |
|---|---|
| +17 | 1–3 |
| +18 | 2–6 |
| +19 | 5–12 |
| +20 | 14–29 |
Equipment in this category below +17 cannot be used in the Forge.
Other S84 equipment (Vorpal and Elegia)
| Enchant | Auralyn per piece of equipment |
|---|---|
| +0 to +3 | 1–2 |
| +4 | 1–3 |
| +5 | 1–4 |
| +6 | 2–5 |
| +7 | 3–7 |
| +8 | 4–9 |
| +9 | 5–12 |
| +10 | 7–16 |
| +11 | 12–26 |
| +12 | 17–36 |
| +13 | 23–47 |
| +14 | 28–58 |
| +15 | 34–70 |
| +16 | 41–82 |
| +17 | 65–132 |
| +18 | 92–185 |
| +19 | 120–242 |
| +20 | 151–302 |
The exact list of accepted equipment is applied automatically by the window: if an item does not appear among the eligible items, it cannot be converted.

Other adjustments
🔹Auralyn can no longer be purchased with Fame. The idea is for Fame to stop being a "currency" and instead become more of a "milestone" that unlocks benefits as the score increases.
🔹Fixed re-entry into Merkios and Kamaloka, which had unintentionally reverted to a full 24-hour lockout.
🔹Computer identification for the “5 PCs per account” system has been reworked to be less restrictive. For example, formatting a computer will no longer cause it to be recognized as a new PC.
