Battlefield Guide

The Battlefield is an open and rotating PvP zone. There are no fixed teams: each player can fight alone, in a party, or command channel, while individual and clan results are recorded in real time.
Schedules and duration
The Battlefield changes location every two hours, at the following server times:
00:00, 02:00, 04:00, 06:00, 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00.
Each round remains active until the next Battlefield opens. When the change occurs, a new location is chosen and announced to the entire server.
How to enter
Open the Community Board, access the Battlefield page, and use the Teleport To War button.
Teleportation costs 10.000 Adena. Non-Premium players need to be near a Gatekeeper to use it.
Teleportation will not be available while the character is in situations such as: Combat, Olympiad, Tournament, event, and others.
On the Battlefield page, it is also possible to track:
-
Current location;
-
Time remaining;
-
Players present;
-
Total kills;
-
Fame distributed;
-
Individual ranking;
-
Clan ranking.
Objective
Defeat other players within the zone to:
-
Receive Fame;
-
Receive Auralyn;
-
Climb the individual ranking;
-
Add points for your clan;
-
Contribute to clan reputation at the end of the round.
The competitive content is intended for level 85 characters.
Kills against members of the same clan or alliance are not considered valid. There is also a maximum level difference allowed for receiving rewards.
Reward per kill
When an eligible kill happens, the system performs a reward attempt.
If the attempt is successful, the player receives:
-
150 Fame;
-
Between 1 and 5 Auralyn.
Fame and Auralyn are awarded together. If the attempt is not successful, neither reward will be awarded for that kill.
How the chance works
The base chance depends on the player's position and activity around them.
-
Near the center of the Battlefield, within a radius of up to 3.000 from the flag, the base chance is 100%.
-
After that distance, the chance decreases progressively.
-
Near the edge of the zone, the distance-based chance can reach 10%.
-
A large concentration of nearby players can also increase the base chance.
The objective is to encourage battles in the busiest regions and prevent confrontations from being moved to isolated locations.
Playing alone
The player receives the full base chance.
Example: with a base chance of 100%, the kill guarantees an attempt with a 100% chance.
Playing in a party
Each eligible party member receives an individual attempt with 75% of the base chance.
Example: if the base chance is 100%, each eligible member will have a 75% chance to receive their own reward.
Playing in a command channel
Each eligible command channel member receives an individual attempt with 50% of the base chance.
Example: if the base chance is 100%, each eligible member will have a 50% chance to receive their own reward.
The reward is not divided among members. Each player performs their own attempt and, if successful, receives 100 Fame and 1 to 5 Auralyn in full.
To participate in the distribution, the member must:
-
Be alive;
-
Be inside the Battlefield;
-
Be nearby and following the combat.
Protections
The Battlefield has automatic protections against abuse, artificial farming, improper reward repetition, and other forms of manipulation.
When one of these protections is triggered, the kill may not generate a reward. The criteria and limits of these protections are not disclosed.
Individual ranking
The individual ranking records:
-
Kills;
-
Deaths;
-
Score.
The score is calculated as follows:
Score = Kills − Deaths
The panel displays the ten highest-ranked players of the round. In case of death, the character's consecutive kill streak ends.
Streaks of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 kills without dying receive special announcements on the server.
Clan ranking
All member kills and deaths are added to the clan result:
Clan Score = Kills − Deaths
The winner is the clan with the highest score. In case of a tie:
-
The clan with more kills wins;
-
If the tie persists, the alphabetical order of the clan name is used.
Clan reputation
For clan rewards to be validated at the end of the round, the Battlefield must meet the following requirements:
-
At least 25.000 Fame distributed during the round;
-
Participation of at least three clans that own a castle.
When these requirements are met, participating clans receive reputation according to their performance:
Reputation = Positive Score × 100 + Kills × 10
Negative scores do not remove reputation.
Example:
-
20 kills;
-
10 deaths;
-
Score of 10.
Result:
10 × 100 + 20 × 10 = 1.200 Clan Reputation
At the end, the highest-ranked clan is announced as the winner of the Battlefield.
What happens upon death?
Upon dying inside the Battlefield, the player can return to a random point in the zone. The return occurs after approximately 10 seconds.
Death in the Battlefield:
-
Does not remove Fame;
-
Does not reduce Ability EXP or Ability Points;
-
Counts as a death in the ranking;
-
Ends the current kill streak.
Other general server death rules continue to apply normally.
