Exilium World - L2J Server

Guides

The following tutorial will explain how it's possible to obtain fragments of cursed special weapons (Zariche and Akamanah), whether by owning them or by collecting your blood. Cursed weapons primarily focus on attack (Demoniac Presence), which can later be strengthened with Dragon Claws.

Curse of Weapons: Players who possess one of these weapons have their character transformed and gain two skills with a chance of lethality, which leads to a true massacre, but they also face significant challenges due to the curse. Proper curse management is essential to make the most of these weapons, as each validated kill will grant you a reasonable amount of fame per death!

Acquisition of Cursed Weapons: Cursed weapons cannot be acquired as regular items. They can only be obtained through the spilled blood that may occur during the game, such as during hunting (lower chance) or through PvP (higher chance).
Understand that cursed weapons are dark and crave death and blood. Obtaining a cursed weapon is a rare and highly competitive event.

When they are dropped in the world, your screen will turn red, and the chat will inform you that the weapons (Blood Sword Akamanah or Demonic Sword Zariche) have been dropped.

Similarly, as you can observe in the image above, when someone possesses one as well, it is also notified.

If you don't catch the exact moment in the chat and miss this information, don't worry! You can check on the game map if they are online (Open the map, click on the Tracking tab, and then on the window that opens, click on the Cursed Weapon tab). If no one possesses them, they will be displayed in gray. If someone already has them, they will be indicated on the map in red.

Important information to keep in mind when possessing cursed weapons:

• If the weapon is not acquired by someone, it will disappear from the map in a few hours.
• Entering a safe zone (such as towers or villages) will make them disappear.
• If you exit the game in any way, you will also lose possession of the weapons. There is a chance they may be dropped again (but it's not guaranteed).
• After acquiring the cursed weapons, the possession time is reduced slightly with each death. Therefore, look for places with a high concentration of players to complete the Cursed Path achievement. We recommend opening your inventory and using the Scroll of War.

Exilium World features an achievement system that, when completed, will benefit you by granting fame that can be exchanged for various items at the NPC Hector and even Exilium Coin fragments (Exilium Ether), which is a form of Exilium Coin that allows you to earn real money while playing! (For more information on how to earn money while playing, click here).

You can view all the achievements by opening the Community panel (Alt+B) and clicking on the Achievements tab. Among all the achievements, the one that will interest us in this tutorial is the Cursed Path achievement.

It's a different kind of achievement compared to the others, as the Cursed Path achievement is a 'shared' achievement. This means that if you die with, for example, 10 valid kills remaining and someone else acquires the weapon, that other person will only need to kill 10 more people to complete it.
Useful information about the Cursed Path achievement: The game will only count the kills when you reach level 10 with the cursed weapon. Once you reach level 10, it will have a strong red glow, and all players (except members of your clan) will receive a message on their screen. It's a teleportation where the entire server can go to your location!

It's time to annihilate them all! Create a carnage and destroy anyone in your path!

Demonic Blood: As mentioned at the beginning of the tutorial, there are two ways to obtain fragments of the weapons. One of them is by completing the Cursed Path achievement, where you will receive one of the possible fragments randomly, along with a good amount of fame. Another way is by collecting their blood if you and some friends manage to kill the weapon holder.

The blood will be dropped around the defeated weapon holder, and the quantity will vary depending on the number of valid kills made.

The blood is tradable, allowing you to trade with other players. You need to acquire at least 50 portions of blood to exchange for one fragment.

How to exchange the blood for a fragment: To exchange the blood you've acquired for a fragment, you need to travel to Hellbound and find the NPC Reep. He is located near the most infernal chambers of Hellbound.

To speak with NPC Reep, it's not enough to have the minimum amount of blood (50) from either Akamanah or Zariche. In order for him to grant you the fragment, you will need to have a Karma quantity of 10,000!

That's right! You need to shed blood to earn the right to speak with him. Only then can you choose your fragment.

Reep will ask you if you want to exchange blood from Akamanah or Zariche. Choose the option that suits you.

Additional information: When continuously hit by your opponents, you may temporarily lose control of the weapon. It will go out of control and have a mind of its own, striking everyone in front of you. During this loss of control, any debuffs you have will be removed.

Rules for validating kills with cursed weapons: There are some rules you must follow for the kills to be validated. This applies to any form of anti-gaming. Here are some conditions for your kill count to be validated:
• The character you killed cannot be a newbie. This means you need to kill a level 85 character, for example.
• Killing someone from your own clan will not count as valid kills. Additionally, one valid kill will be subtracted from your history and the Cursed Path achievement.
• Repeatedly killing the same people may reduce your score. You need to alternate kills between different individuals and different clans.
• Characters who are part of a clan with an informal alliance formed cannot possess the weapon (for more information on what an informal alliance is, click here).

How to increase the weapon's level: To raise your weapon's level, you will need to Dragon Claw . A rare item that can be acquired from Grand Bosses and occasionally through voting on the server. This level increase is performed at NPC Ishuma, who is located on the Gludio Airship. To reach there, you need to go to Gludio Castle Town and speak with the local Gatekeeper, Bella.

Congratulations on getting this far. I hope you engage in a lot of PvP with these demonic weapons!
