🔷 Recently we have added several benefits for Clans that own a Castle. Well, now with the intention of making everything more fun we have developed a new system: Castle Menace Level
The castle menace level will represent which Castle benefits the Clan will be able to use. The higher the menace level of the castle, the more benefits will be unlocked.
The menace levels and the benefits unlocked at each level are as shown below:
Menace Level | Unlocked Benefit |
Zero | Basic benefits |
Very Low | Treasure (taxes) |
Low | Territory Ward |
Medium | Merkios' Instance |
High | Symbol of Control |
Very High | Lord Pass |
Extreme | Clan Dominium |
The menace level of each castle can be checked directly on the map, or on the website.
Every day the menace level of all castles will drop by 1 level.
And after all, how to increase the Castle’s menace level? Going PvP! Specifically in the Battlefield zones ("SOW"), which leads us to the next topic.
ℹ️All Castles started with the menace level High
⚠️This system is new, modifications may occur in its functioning
🔷 The Battlefield zones ("SOW") have been reworked once again. We brought back the open zones that players like so much and added some new ones. In addition, they now have a much larger area, allowing PvP to go much further.
Important changes:
- The acquisition of Auralyn and Fame from now on will only be in the Battlefield zones (Atelia and Grand Boss will no longer drop Auralyn and Fame from players)
- There will no longer be "PvP Premium Time" with extra bonus for the winning clan
- The zones still last two hours each, and at the end, the winning Clan is announced, if there is one. The winning Clan, if it owns a castle, will have its menace level set to Extreme. All other participating Clans with castles will have their menace level increased by 1 level.
- Some protections were created to avoid improper farming in inhospitable areas of the zones.
- The menace level of castles will only be increased if at least 3 Clans with Castles participate in the PvP, and if there is a minimum of PvP during the two hours of the zone.
🔷 A new utility was created for Clan leaders: Login Info.
With Login Info the leader and sub-leaders of the Clan will be able to investigate whether their members are logging in with other characters in other clans, or in the same clan.
This is particularly important to prevent Clans from falling into the definition of "ALT/BOT Clan". When a Clan has many members who also have characters in another Clan, the risk of both Clans being defined as "ALT/BOT" increases considerably.
To access the new feature, open the Clan window, select the member and click the "Login Info" button
🔷 Problem in the Exilium Store where it was only possible to buy items when near NPCs has been fixed.
