A new mechanic has been implemented to energize and intensify Sieges: Castle Exchange

How does it work?

Clans that own a castle can now attack other castles with an equal or greater number of Wards. This type of castle-to-castle attack does not allow the use of Resurrection skills. The list of attackers (which castle can attack which castle) will be automatically generated after the end of the Territory War based on the number of Wards each castle has.

When a clan that already owns a castle conquers a new one, its previous castle becomes neutral (controlled by NPCs), and the conquered castle is transferred to the conquering Clan.

The Clan that loses its castle in this way becomes the attacker of both the lost castle and the previous castle of the attacker, allowing a dual opportunity for recovery. To prevent abuses, the Clan that took the castle is barred from accessing the area of their previous castle until the end of the Siege.

After such a castle takeover, the attacking Clan can no longer attack other castels, focusing only on the defense of the acquired castle. Similarly, a Clan that recovers a lost castle cannot initiate new attacks. This rule ensures that each Clan has only one successful theft or recovery opportunity per Siege, aiming for balance.

It's worth noting that these rules only apply to this new "castle swap" mechanic. When it comes to normal castle conquest (not between castles), standard rules still apply.

We hope this innovation will make the Sieges even more engaging!
